Real nice rendering. I like the clouds in the background that give her a semblance of power and ability to fly. Great painting.

This pic is breathtakingly beautiful. I love the up-close pic of her showing detail in her face and the depth in her eyes. Love the sunlight glow just behind her head and her hair flowing look is spot on. The sky coloring is gorgeous with the perfect shade of blueing with the clouds around.
Masterpiece of a pic:love:

This is awesome! You can detect just a touch of sadness in her expression. Well done as usual, Fred!

Nice. I just read your journal on the masculinity of the old face. It's always difficult to balance that with conveying a strong and determined look.

For what it's worth, I think this is spot on.

Then my job has been completed. I think this will be the figure I continue to use in the future. I would, however, like to get hold of the New 52 costume. . .so I can have this version kick the crap out of her. :P

I'm in the middle of something, but I've been meaning to put a 52 costume together. Want to test it out if I get it done before another one becomes available?

Sure. I'd like that. One thing I've noticed is a lack of New 52 costumes. The only reason I haven't really requested or complained is because most of them would just wind up bloody messes on a beautifully rendered floor at the hands of their classic costume donned counterparts.

Admittedly, I only really ever search on sharecg as I know of no other site to find poser content consisting of comic based characters, props, and costumes. If you know of another site, I'd appreciate that, too.

I used to post there all the time. After a while not only did I find it rather limiting, but I also discovered that the majority of the regular posters on that site are really only interested in seeing superhero porn. The main gallery barely gets looked at, and then only if you've placed gigantic breasts front and center on your image. I can't say my experience there was entirely bad as I made some fairly decent friends over there and learned much of what I still use today. Also, I've already picked up everything in the freebie section that interested me. I went there literally just a couple hours ago to check if anything new had been released in my months of absence, but there was nothing I could really use. Thanks, though.

There is too much money in lunchboxes, toys, coloring books, and other merchandise that requires the iconic look. A little tinkering with colors like Batman or the breastplate for Wonder Woman is ok. The new 52 will die away just like the blue Superman. Anyone remember the Blue Superman film that Tim Burton was trying to make?

I don't know, man. I have a friend who works for DC Comics and he says it's not going to be going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

Niether was the revisions that was done to Wonder Woman that suddenely ended when Flashpoint started. I am not saying that it won't run a few years as long as it's making money. But put a picture of the 52 uniforms next to the iconic ones and have the average person pick.

The sad thing in my mind is that changing the uniforms was just laziness. If they wanted to do something that hasn't been done for along time and worked everytime it was done, they should have started telling good stories and let the plot unfold organically instead of forcing everything to fit into the limits of a trade paper back. There were several JLA storylines that would have been really good but after 3-4 issues it had to end because the trade was going to print. Then the next "special" event cropped up and everything changed again. Marvel did it to the point that they drove their characters and storylines into the ground.

Or, how about this; instead of resetting the entire universe and deleting the versions of the characters that everyone knows and loves, why didn't they just go the same route that Marvel did with their Ultimate line? Make the New 52 an offshoot universe, but keep the old continuity. I'd have been on board for that, and much of what they have done since its inception could've been forgiven.
